From her professional debut at the age of eight, pianist Ana-Maria Vera has compelled audiences across the globe. A descendant of the Andean Aymara civilization on her father's side and Dutch on her mother’s, Ana-Maria’s qualities as a player are as unusual as her cultural heritage.

She began as a child prodigy, coming of age under the guidance of Leon Fleisher. Constantly expanding her horizons through close work with pivotal musical figures, she has delved deeply into the chamber music world where her regular partners now include Steven Isserlis and Joshua Bell.
